I voted for it before I voted against it.

What makes a soldier great?  No, it’s not academic stature.  It’s courage, valor, and training (probably in that order as well).  Academic stature is just icing on the cake.  All the military personnel I’ve had the honor to meet have all these traits with a lot of icing to boot.

I’m just glad I never found myself in a foxhole with the likes of John Kerry.

Please permit me to make another observation.  The polls I’m seeing today are telling us that 60% of Americans feel the war in Iraq is going badly.  Political strategists are saying the war in Iraq is the biggest factor in these mid-term elections.

If the Democrats win in Congress, I honestly feel the mainstream media has literally overthrown our government. Think about it!

When you have the power to communicate your message to an entire nation at will and you fill your message with lies, deceit, and bias, you have a very powerful weapon.  You could call it a Weapon of Mass Deception.  Let’s just hope it doesn’t become a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
